Understanding Vaccine Coverage and Home-Visit Fees
Two separate costs
An at-home visit has two parts: the vaccine itself, and the home visit. Vaccine copays are often $0 with Medicare or insurance. A separate home-visit service fee of $35–$65 applies based on your city. The fee covers the pharmacist's travel and time in your home.
How vaccines are usually billed
Flu, COVID-19, and pneumonia vaccines are usually billed to Medicare Part B. Shingles (Shingrix), RSV, and Tdap are usually billed to Medicare Part D. Commercial plans and AHCCCS cover many adult vaccines too. Every plan is different, so we never guarantee coverage.
We check before we come
When you submit a request, you share insurance details. Our team runs a benefits check before the visit. If a vaccine isn't covered, we call you with the price before scheduling — you can decline that vaccine and keep the others.
Home-visit fee by city
$35 for Sun City, Sun City West, Youngtown, Peoria, Surprise, El Mirage, Glendale and Litchfield Park. $50 for Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Avondale, Goodyear, Tolleson, Cave Creek, Carefree and Fountain Hills. $65 for Mesa, Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, Guadalupe, Buckeye and Wickenburg.
One visit, more than one person
Other adults in the same home can usually be vaccinated during the same visit. Tell us in your request and we'll check each person's coverage.
One fee per visit
The service fee is charged only once per visit. If several people at the same address are vaccinated, they share a single fee.
No fee for larger facilities
Group homes and assisted living facilities with more than 5 residents being vaccinated pay no service fee. See our senior living page to arrange an on-site clinic.
